Screens, 2025
Screens may have an inverse meaning, or perhaps, because of how little meaning they seem to hold, they create a full circle, leading to even more meaning than intended. Over a few weeks, I captured images of my laptop and phone, documenting what inspires me: my favourite films, Persona and The Piano Teacher, as well as my online shopping habits and lyrics I’ve attached myself to. The idea was to build on the work of others. What I see daily and layer it, creating an intimate yet infinite interpretation of my online activities. No single piece of content holds more or less value than another. At its core, this is a demonstration of my search history and a reminder of its worth when taken seriously.
