Inspired by the rituals of holy water and the myths surrounding the Fountain of Youth, this work contemplates the longing to be absolved of guilt, of time, and of oneself. The fountain, stripped of movement, becomes a monument

to desire, suggesting inal purication may not come from the water itself, our trom contronung its sullness. Through this piece, I consider the quiet theatricality of redemption and the spaces, both personal and historical, where cleansing is ritualized, yet never guaranteed.
