Reflection and Construction, 2025

When taking images of reflections in storefront windows and ongoing construction in a developing town in the middle of the night, I think about leaving. Reflection and Construction is a series of images around my hometown, Abbotsford, and a collection of text messages from people close to me. We all want to leave, whether it’s the party or the country, while we all want to find love within ourselves and the town we live in. This series is about leaving, loving, and when to do so.
